Welcome to Open Green Mod

I got bored one day and decided to dedicate an excessive amount of time into over engineering an indoor garden. This sounds like a terrible foundation to build a project on but it is the truth. I have been tinkering with electronics since I was 6. I wrote my first webpage at 8 and built my first semi autonomous garden at 12.

I do have qualifications though; in 2021 I lead a team that won first place in a competition to build an autonomous garden for growing plants in space. In 2022, I worked as an intern for a micro satellite company helping develop control systems for micro satellites. I currently work for a cyber security company developing devices to help defend the worlds computers.

In these roles, two of my focuses have been autonomous systems and modularity. This project reflects that. A customizable, adaptable and personal garden for anyone, anywhere. Join the future of home gardens. Join us.
